  • No Aerosol Cans or Silly String
  • Normal Footwear

  • School Appropriate Costume – Non-Offensive – No longer than Ankle Length
  • Hats – Only if it goes with the costume
  • Make-up and Hair Spray needs to be applied BEFORE arriving at school.

ASL Club at HMS

10/8/2025 10:45 pm

Learning American Sign Language (ASL) is like unlocking a whole new way to connect! It’s fun, expressive, and lets you communicate without saying a word (send secret messages in class or across a crowded or quiet room!). You’ll strengthen your brain with a new language, and gain a skill that helps make the world more inclusive.

Plus, ASL can count as a language credit in high school, and is the third most studied language in US colleges and universities behind Spanish & French and has uses in many job fields.  Learn ASL — speak with your hands, listen with your eyes, and make a difference!
