The PTO Families Helping Families (FHF) committee supports our HMS families when an immediate need arises due to unforeseen circumstances that impact the students' day to day living. Established in 2024, the committee is modeled after Hinsdale Central's FHF. All referrals must go through the HMS social workers. Some basic need items provided by FHF may include school supplies, clothing, furniture, and gift cards for gas and food.

If you would like to join our committee (all communications done exclusively via emails), email Denys Kang at fhf@hmspto.org. FHF may ask for item donations from our committee members.

We need your support. FHF is completely self-funded and relies solely on the generosity of our HMS community. There are two ways to make a monetary contribution. You can donate via Zelle at treasurer@hmspto.org (memo FHF) or a written check to HMS PTO (memo FHF).

When FHF is called to action, the more families who come forward to offer their generosity, the easier the task. Thank you for your consideration in joining the FHF committee and your contribution to support our HMS community.

Beautiful Prints, Brighter Futures

All throughout the year Minted offers Hinsdale Middle School families a 20% discount plus a give back of 10% to our school. Minted not only has cards for purchase but many artistic products that you can customize, such as a calendar or school planner for your child for back to school with their own artwork or fun photos. Fuller House Give Back

Enjoy a delicious night out (or takeout) at Fuller House on Tuesday, September 15! A portion of your bill goes directly to benefit the HMS PTO as Fuller House is graciously donating 10% of total sales. Enjoy your favorite dishes while helping fund programs, activities, and resources for our students—it’s a win-win! Fuller House website HERE.

PTO Membership & Meeting Dates

If you haven’t already, please join or renew your PTO membership. In addition to the fact that you must be a paid PTO member to attend meetings and volunteer, your PTO membership fee goes directly to our operating budget and allows us to support our students and teachers. You can sign up easily HERE, under Nonprofit groups.

Save the Date! PTO meetings during the 2026-2027 school year will be held at 9:00 am on the following dates: September 11, November 13, January 15, March 12, and May 14. More details to come!
