Join us for a powerful documentary and community discussion on the effects of anxiety on our children. D181 is hosting a showing of the documentary “Angst”, a 43-minute film featuring candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they’ve learned about it. The film also includes discussion with mental health experts and provides tools for parents and educators.Parents, community members, staff and students (ages 10+) are invited to attend this free event.
D181 social workers and Executive Director of Special Education Dana Bergthold will be present for a follow-up discussion. Individual questions can be submitted for this who wish to engage in deeper conversation after the event.
