8th Graders Invited to Fortnightly

Fortnightly invitations were sent to all 8th grade students in early October (unless you, as the parent, opted out of receiving this invitation during the school registration process.)

Fortnightly was established in Hinsdale in the late 1950s and teaches the basics of social etiquette and ballroom dance.

The seven week program is held at The Community House in January and February. Classes are offered Thursdays or Fridays, at either 7:00 or 8:15 p.m.  Registration is going on now.

For more information, please contact Kirsten Schmidt or Cyndi Breslow .

Social Media and Your Adolescent

Join us on Wednesday, November 9th at 9:00 a.m. in the MRC for an in-depth discussion about social media, the impact it can have on your child, and what you should know as a parent.

Social worker Kate Klara and Officer Coughlin will provide an overview of social media platforms, apps, and sites that are available to our children and offer practical information and advice regarding how best to handle certain situations.

This presentation will immediately follow a very brief PTO meeting at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome!
