REMINDER: Order Your 2021-2022 School Supplies Today!
Online ordering of school supply kits for the 2021-2022 school year is now open. This is a convenience provided by the PTO and supplies will be shipped directly to student homes the week of August 2. This is an optional service. School supply lists will also be posted on the HMS and PTO website for families who decide to purchase supplies on their own.
Ordering instructions:
– Go to the ordering website: https://www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks/
– Enter school ID# HIN022
– Choose the kit for your student’s grade
– Graphing calculators are only needed for students taking Algebra 1
– Make sure you have received an email confirmation of your order
Students who are eligible for a fee waiver through the school district may request a supply kit through the school office. Please contact Gerianne Salach (gsalach@d181.org) in the front office for more information.

8th-Grade Graduation Front Row Seating!
Attention 8th-grade parents!
As a reminder, graduation will be held Thursday, June 10 at 4 pm.
The HMS PTO is auctioning off front row seating at this year’s graduation.
Each graduate will be given 4 tickets to the ceremony. If you choose to bid on seating and win, you will trade in your 4 general admission seats for 4 front-row reserved seats!
Please submit all bids to graduation@hmspto.org by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 1st. Include your graduate’s name as well as your best and final offer for seating.
Seats will be awarded to the 10 highest bidders and winners will be contacted via email. Payment for all winning bids needs to be completed by 8:00 am on Monday, June 7 or the seats will be awarded to the next highest bid.
