Summer learning

The 2018 Summer Learning Program catalogue will be available in every school office beginning the week of April 9 and also online. Registration will also be held online. All District 181 students and interested age appropriate students outside the D181 community are invited to enroll in the annual Summer Learning Program. A comprehensive array of courses is offered for students entering K-8, including classes in music, theater, art, world languages, technology, math, reading, writing, science, and physical education. Sessions also focus on specific skills, such as organization, keyboarding, game design and overcoming obstacles.

Summer Expo program now online

District 181 and the District 181 Foundation held its annual Summer Camp Expo on March 8. More than 300 persons attended the Expo and more than 50 exhibitors were represented. The event welcomed exhibitors representing overnight camps, recreational activities, sports camps, fine arts camps, and educational enrichment opportunities, as well as camps and services for students with special needs and advanced learners, and tutors.
