Will you help us ‘Stuff the Squad’?
On April 29th, we’re partnering with the Hinsdale Police Department to collect food and supplies for families in our community who are in need and access HCS Family Services. We’re asking students to come to school that day with non-perishable food and supplies to donate. Local police officers will park outside the school that morning to collect the donations and “stuff the squad” car for delivery to HCS. All D181 schools are participating, and our goal is to raise 5,000 pounds of food and supplies total!
Suggested items for donation include:
• Healthy shelf-stable food (cereals, vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, beans, etc.)
• Baking Ingredients (flour, oil, etc.)
• Diapers
• Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper)
• Toiletries
