Graduation FAQs
Last day of school attendance for 8th graders: June 8th (6th and 7th graders WILL attend school June 9th)
Graduation Practice: June 8th, Washington Field
Dance: Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no graduation dance this year
Yearbooks: Distributed June 8th at school
Graduation Date: June 10th @ 4:00 pm (Doors open at 3:30 p.m.)
Rain Date: June 11th Time TBD
Location: Westmont High School Football Field, 909 Oakwood Dr, Westmont, IL 60559
Tickets: 4 tickets per graduate
Ceremony Duration: 1 hour
(Note: CHMS will be holding their graduation immediately after HMS’s ceremony. We encourage families to leave the premises immediately after the ceremony concludes, so CHMS can prepare for their ceremony. )
Seating: Groupings of four seats on a first come, first-serve basis.
(Note: Several pods of front row seating will be auctioned by the PTO as a fundraiser. More information to follow.)
Graduation Photos: There will be a professional photographer taking pictures of graduates as they walk across the stage. These
photos will be available for purchase after the ceremony.
Livestream: The ceremony will be live streamed for attendees who do not have tickets or who live farther away.
The ceremony will also be recorded so it can be watched at a later time.
Family/friend Photos: Graduation-themed decorations will be outside at HMS on June 10th & 11th.
We encourage anyone who would like to take pictures to do so at HMS at their convenience.
