HMS wants to remind you that we will have no school next week, and we will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences. We encourage parents to sign up for unfilled time slots. If you would like to add to the number of conferences you have already booked, this would also be an appropriate moment to do so. Signing up in advance allows teachers to better prepare for your visit. If a teacher has an unfilled time, they may or may not be able to see you, based on supply and demand. With conferences, and quite honestly throughout the year, direct communication with the teacher you wish to see will always be your best method to connect.
We encourage you to allow enough time to park and walk to HMS when you visit us for conferences. Both North and South doors will be open, but we discourage you from walking around the north side of the portables, especially at night. Guests will need to pay to park in the Washington Lot during the morning of Tuesday, November 21st, but they will not have to pay on the evening of Monday, November 20th. One additional parking area that can be used for these two days will be our bus loop! Thank you for your patience during our current construction phase.
As always, if this format does not best meet your needs, we encourage parent teacher communication outside of this time window. Our teachers make every effort to be accessible to address questions via email or phone throughout the entire school year, and always strive to best meet your needs.
