A Message from Rocky May

Parents, please do not allow your children to bring items to school that may distract from education and learning. While it’s nearly impossible to compile a comprehensive list, some items that have been causing issues lately are: “slime” (both homemade and store purchased), laser pointers, bouncy balls, and electronic devices. While some students have demonstrated a level of responsibility and success with “fidgets,” we have also observed students using these items with an opposite, unintended effect by distracting themselves and others.  At  each teacher’s discretion, any problem items will be collected from students and turned into the office where they will only be available for pickup by a parent.  We hope to use this approach sparingly. Thank you for understanding, and if you seek any clarification, please contact Assistant Principal Rocky May.
