The Community Speaker Series promotes district wide learning about education, child development, wellness and parenting. It is open and free to all members of the K- 12 learning community. The intention of the series is to encourage proactive parenting that supports children’s and adolescents’ social and emotional development as well as their academic achievement. Through the series, D86 and D181 enlist top experts to inform and inspire our community as a means to enrich school-family partnership that supports the education of our students. We are looking for parents and community members to volunteer on our committee.
