Less clear is why these experiences are crucial to healthy development and what parents can do and say to make sure their kids learn and grow from them, instead of getting stuck. Join us for an event with nationally acclaimed parenting author Michelle Icard, who will guide us with warmth, wisdom, and her signature humor, through what adults should and shouldn’t do when a child they love faces a setback, including struggles with: believing in themselves, showing concern for others, connecting with peers or family members, following the rules, taking care of their bodies, and many more.
