Back to School Day is just two days away!! Come to HMS on Tuesday, August 15th (6th graders & families anytime between 9-11am, 7th/8th graders & families between 12-2pm*) to get schedules, buy awesome new HMS merch, drop off medical forms and more. Please enter HMS on the parking deck entrance only.
Parents, want to help the PTO for just couple of hours in the morning? Sign up HERE.
Can’t make it on Tuesday? The school will be open August 16th 1-3pm, August 17th 1-3pm and 4-6pm or August 21st from 3-5pm. PTO will not be available these times, but students/parents can access lockers and practice walking schedules.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the 23-24 HMS School Year!!

*Times are encouraged, but any grade/family can join during either of the “open house” format times.

The PTO congratulates the Class of 2023 on their accomplishments. The ceremony was held Friday evening. Make HMS proud as you make a difference in the world. Remember, you will always be a Spartan.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the picnic lunch and block party on Wednesday, March 31st. A huge thanks to the 8th grade graduation committee, especially PTO chair Sarah Beros for spearheading the event.

CALLING ALL 8th GRADE PARENTS – The HMS PTO is looking for feedback on the 8th Grade Graduation Celebration. Please follow this LINK to complete the survey. Students are welcome to participate too. The more information we have, the better we can plan for next year! We appreciate any and all opinions.

Gail Vescovi joined District 181’s support staff in 1993. Along with mastering countless administrative tasks (like 8th grade graduation), she’s welcomed students, parents, visitors, and teachers into our building since 1996. She is a true LEGEND. Students showed their appreciation by lining the halls with notes of gratitude and congratulations during the final week of school. Mrs. Vescovi will be greatly missed as she enjoys her well deserved retirement!
