D181 School Climate Survey

District 181 is looking for parent feedback on school climate through the Comprehensive School Climate Inventory.  This is a 20-minute anonymous survey being administered online to students in Grades 4-8 and made available online to all staff and parents between December 5-16, 2016. On December 5, you will receive an email with the CSCI survey link. (The survey can be completed once per family, per school.) You will be asked to respond to a series of multiple choice questions on Safety, Teaching and Learning, Interpersonal Relationships, and Institutional Environment. The student survey is on display in the school office. If you choose for your child(ren) not to participate in the CSCI, please inform the principal in writing no later than December 2. Click here for more information.

Thank You!

On behalf of the students, staff and administration of Hinsdale Middle School, as well as D181, we wanted to thank the community for recently passing the referendum to build a new Hinsdale Middle School. On Wednesday, we invited students and gave them the option to express their thanks on a banner which is currently on display on Garfield Avenue. In case you haven’t had a chance to drive by, we wanted to make sure you saw it and know how grateful we are!
